My cherry has been popped!

My cherry is officially POPPED! And I have had a challenge laid upon me. So I told my wife that I would be blogging, her reply, “you’ll never keep it up”. “Not even for a month”. And so the blogging begins.
As I have said, my wife has a blog and talks about all sorts of topics. So I thought to myself, maybe if I gave her a suggestion or two she would use them and say, wow honey! You really care about the things I write. Blah, blah, you know, couples kind of stuff. But nooo she has yet to do so. And here we are. I have gone against the grain, and have created this blog for all to see. What were, those mysterious topics so taboo that she wouldn’t dare touch them. So uncreative that Ben Stien would say “wow that’s sooo boring”. So far beneath her that the Crustacean that feed on the bottom of the ocean say YIKES! Trust me they were not bad topics at all. For instance, one of those “non-used” blogs talked about the evolvement of our youth. And how we as parents and 35-45 years of age people genuinely appreciate music and really enjoy sounds from all eras of music. Well at least most of us do. Like Benny Goodman, Ella Fitzgerald, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Journey, George Gershwin, all the way up to now with bands like the Black eye peas, Rihanna, and mine and my wife’s new fave, Girl in a Coma. Young adults only listen to the music that’s played in the times they live in. the same goes for T.V. the other day, I was quoting a line from a television show that played in the 70’s called “Welcome back Kotter” and the person I told the line to said he had never heard of the show. Never heard of a show that included a now, well-known star, like John Travolta!!? He is 26 years of age. The point of the whole matter is, that are youth need to reflect and appreciate the past. Without the past, we can never lean about our present, and prepare for our future. That’s all I’ll say for now.
